Electronic Appraisal Delivery (EAD)
Freddie Mac's portal for electronic submission and quality review of appraisal reports. Comparable to Fannie Mae's UCDP, it validates UAD compliance and data integrity.
EAD serves the same function as UCDP but for Freddie Mac loan deliveries. The two portals have been integrated so that a single submission through either portal satisfies both GSEs' requirements. EAD performs automated appraisal scoring and generates feedback messages that identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and risk flags. Like UCDP, it is a mandatory step in the conventional mortgage process.
